After graduating, Aileen initiated her business ventures and garnered her experience through several years in establishing and expanding new companies.

Specifically after experiencing food allergies, she developed a gluten free pie-pastry with no added fat which was way ahead of its time. This business expanded across metropolitan and regional Sydney and grew to be a successful enterprise which was highly appreciated by coeliacs.  

Since 2008, Aileen’s valuable experience has been vital to developing the office administration systems at Haematex. She actively manages the daily activities involved with the distribution network and also is the team leader of TGA related regulatory affairs. Working side by side with Dr Exner, Aileen has been integral in devising long term strategies and has watched Haematex evolve and grow over the last 14 years to become a global leader in coagulation diagnostics innovation.
